Message on: “The Place of Men/ Women of God in Nation Building.”
Matthew 2:1 “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem. Who were The Wise Men. They were believers in God’s revelation, and they responded in faith to the light they were given by God.
Text: Matt 2:16-18 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted, Because they are no more.”
As we celebrate Christmas the birth of Our Lord And Savior It reminds us why The savior was born.
As much as we know that Jesus was born to take away our sin That, was not all why he came.
I believe one of the greatest reasons for his coming was to reveal to us our place in Him, and value on earth.
2 Peter 1:4“…that you might be partakers of the divine nature…”
John 1:12“As many as received Him… He gave them power to become sons of God.
In the OT times we see how Men and women of God worked with The leaders or authorities in their times in Nation building.
Proverbs 11:14 — “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
”That is why we need to pray more for President Donald Trump He is trying restore back what Youse to be in Bible days where Kings worked hand in hand with Preset for Nation building
1. Samuel and Saul — Spiritual Counsel to Political Authority (1 Samuel 10)
Samuel anointed Saul as Israel’s first king and provided divine direction for the nation. Even when Saul disobeyed, Samuel continued to intercede for Israel.
Lesson: Prophets are not to compete with kings but to guide them toward God’s will.
2. Nathan and David — Prophetic Accountability (2 Samuel 12:1–13)
Prophet Nathan worked closely with King David — advising, rebuking, and guiding him. His correction helped David repent and restore order in his kingdom.
Lesson: Men and women of God should have the courage to correct leaders with love and truth.
3. Joseph and Pharaoh — The Power of Divine Wisdom (Genesis 41)
Joseph was a man filled with the Spirit of God. Pharaoh recognized that Joseph carried wisdom beyond human understanding and made him second in command. Together, they saved Egypt from famine and turned it into a land of abundance.
Lesson: When leaders listen to godly counsel, nations are preserved in times of crisis.
